Telling Stories: is a series of touring exhibitions involving artists from Margate and Hastings in a form of collaborative cultural and creative exchange. The first event brought together seven artists; six from Hastings and one from Margate as Telling Stories: Margate.
The artists were Alexander Brattell, Sineid Codd, Dawn Cole, Martin Everett, Cathryn Kemp, Louise Kenward and Lucinda Wells with performance work by dance artist Yumino Seki.
Telling Stories: Margate at Marine Studios was proud to be part of Pushing Print Fringe 2011.

The imaginative interchange between artist and place will now be developed into a larger touring exhibition as Telling Stories: Hastings, building on the creative, intellectual and participatory dialogue between the artists themselves, viewer and object.
Telling Stories: Hastings will take place in 2012 and aims to engage a wide audience with workshops and gallery talks.
